BNFL Hunterston

This sign mounted on the security fence near the main entrance to the Hunterston "A" nuclear plant, is used for plant visitor Welcome Messages, and all pertinent general Security and Health & Safety messages for all staff and visitors requiring access.

BNFL Sellafield

The Display shown is one of 11 off identical signs, carefully designed / manufactured to be fully IP65 outdoor compliant, custom designed by Scrimsign for BNFL Sellafield together with custom operational control software, and placed at all site main personnel and vehicle entrances.

Primary use is to display important Health and Safety Plant performance statistics, and in the variable text line, to show any vital emergency or security messages.

BP OIL REFINERY

This exterior Variable Message Sign, located at the Main Plant Entrance, was supplied by Scrimsign into BP Grangemouth in 1996 and has been in continuous use ever since.

It is used for a variety of messages including -

• Vital Plant Health & Safety messages
• Health & Safety Performance Stats

Scottish Power

The Display shown is one of 2 off identical signs, carefully designed / manufactured to be fully IP65 outdoor compliant, designed by Scrimsign for Scottish Power together with custom operational control software.

Primary use is to display important Health and Safety performance statistics, and in the variable text line, to show any vital emergency or security messages.

Babcock

This sign mounted on 2 steel poles near the main entrance to Babcock it is used for plant visitor Welcome Messages, and all pertinent general Security and Health & Safety messages for all staff and visitors approaching the site.

Rolls Royce

The sign shown is one of 15 signs installed throughout the East Kilbride plant signs grouped in 4 or 5 units, each display group controlled by single remote computer by local office staff.

Some signs were individual single sided signs, some were four signs engineered as a four sided arrangement for viewing in all directions.

Usage was for Staff Shift change over information, and for Product Manufacture and Quality Control vital real time feedback information.

Motorola

Scrimsign supplied 40 of these Double Sided real time production Signs into MOTOROLA Mobile Phone High Volume Production Plant at Bathgate.

They were placed at strategic points in each high volume production line, throughout the factory, to provide REAL TIME vital feedback production information, for Operators, Supervisory Staff and Management.

Sky Television

Scrimsign has installed over 20 Wall Mounting ELECTRONIC L.E.D. DISPLAYS into several SKY TELEVISION CALL CENTRES over a four year period.

The displays are mainly used for operator performance information e.g. "Calls Waiting" linked to an existing real time call monitoring package.

Also general staff operational and personnel information messages are input by Management as required.

Sun Microsystems

This Electronic Sign is one of 8 identical signs supplied to two major Electronics companies, SUN MICROSYSTEMS at Linlithgow, and I.B.M. MANUFACTURING at Spango Valley Greenock.

As can be seen in the photograph, the upper section of the signs are used to display Real Time production performance statistics, and the lower sections used for more general messages including Plant Visitor welcome messages, and Shift Changeover Manufacturing Information for Production staff.

Lightbody Cakes

This Electronic Display was custom designed and installed by Scrimsign for Lightbody Cakes factory in Hamilton, to provide Real Time Production Performance feedback information to enable the operators to monitor and correct / improve their output.

A Wall Mounted custom stainless steel controller was serially cabled back to the sign to let Supervisors set Targets via a keylocked switch / button, and end of line opto-coupled sensors fed Actual cake output directly back to the sign.

Grampian Country Pork

This Electronic Display was custom designed and installed by Scrimsign for Grampian Country Pork factory, to provide Real Time Production Performance feedback information to enable the operators to monitor and correct / improve their output.

A Wall Mounted custom stainless steel controller was serially cabled back to the sign to let Supervisors set Targets via a keylocked switch / button, and end of line opto-coupled sensors fed Actual food production output directly back to the sign.

Corus Tubes

The sign shown in the photograph is one of 10 off similar Electronic Production Monitoring Displays supplied by Scrimsign into CORUS TUBES at Hartlepool who have continuous process large diameter pipe rolling sheds.

The Electronic Displays are sited at strategic points in the continous rolling process and linked by Ethernet network to an existing real time production monitoring software package.

This Time & Temperature exterior sign is one of four integrated Marketing / Variable Message signs manufactured and installed for John Hillhouse property group in and around Glasgow.

John Hillhouse group has experienced a high increase in client enquiries / contacts since installing these high profile signs, which attracts great public attention in showing accurate Time and Temperature controlled by exterior mounted GSM Satellite modules.

BNFL Sellafield

These INTERACTIVE KIOSKS were designed to permit whole spectrum of general staff information to be accessed by BNFL staff without normal computer access, by interaction with kiosks located throughout BNFL Sellafield site in restaurants, and rest areas.
